Lebanon County’s Courtroom Number-1 was the setting yesterday morning for inauguration of City and Council Officials and as President Judge John Tylwalk is fond of pointing out, it’s one of only two times a year that cameras and recorders are allowed inside his courtroom. The other time is during U.S. Citizen Naturalization Day at the court.
Judge Tylwalk was the first person to receive his oath of office during the ceremony, after handily winning retention to the Court of Common Pleas in last November’s general election.
For Tylwalk, 30 years have flown by since he was first elected to serve:
Tylwalk was elected to Lebanon County Court of Common Pleas in 1991 and has served as President Judge since January, 2008.
