The UPS Store Donates Books to Lebanon Library

Books donated to Lebanon Community Library by The UPS Store in North Cornwall Twp.

Lebanon UPS Store franchisees David and Julie Osborn delivered a big shipment of books themselves to the Lebanon Community Library Thursday.

Julie Osborn said they purchased $2,000 worth of books with donations received from customers of their UPS Store at 1451 Quentin Road location.

She said the fundraising is part of their participation in the Toys for Tots Literacy Program:

The Osborns keep a donation box on their counter, but they also began accepting donations at the register:

Lebanon Community Library Director Michelle Hawk said some of the books will stay at the library and the rest will be offered to children who participate in the Summer Reading Program:

The Osborns select a different local organization serving children every year to receive the book donation.
