101st District State Representative Frank Ryan (R-Cornwall) is hosting a public hearing of the house majority policy committee this afternoon at 1 P.M. at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center and Fairgrounds.
As a longtime advocate of property tax elimination and someone who has proposed and supported several bills to do it, Ryan says the issue is extremely complex and contentious. While many bills have promised to achieve it, none have received statewide support.
Ryan says he wanted to host this hearing to enable the house majority policy committee and the public to hear from Pennsylvania’s leading proponents and opponents of property tax elimination and to bring us closer to a resolution.
The public hearing is set for 1 o’clock this afternoon at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center and Fairgrounds, Cornwall and Rocherty Roads. It’s open to the public.
Lebanon Valley News will be there.
