Milestone Anniversaries for United Way of Lebanon County

Julia Krall, Executive Director of the United Way of Lebanon County.

It’s a double-milestone year for the United Way of Lebanon County.

Speaking on WLBR’s “Talk of the Town” program earlier this week, Executive Director Julia Krall said 2022 marks the 70th Anniversary for the organization:

This year is also the 25th year for the United Way’s Day of Caring in Lebanon County, set for Saturday, April 23rd:

Krall says volunteers need only make a three hour commitment, typically from 9am to noon. Volunteers may also choose the activity they wish to perform from a wide-ranging list.  Some of the projects include outdoor work at local parks, clerical work, painting walls at non-profit organizations, even visiting with veterans the the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

If you’d like to check out the available projects and sign up, log onto www.unitedwaylebco.org.

Volunteers who sign up by April 1st will be guaranteed a free Day of Caring T-shirt.
