A 43-year-old Lebanon man has been indicted for attempted murder and weapons offenses at a Jersey Shore motel.
The charges against Jose Serrano-Robles were related to a shooting that occurred last August 16th at the La Fontana Motel in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Police were dispatched to the hotel around 2am that day, and found a 51-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital, treated and released.
The Ocean County prosecutor said Serrano-Robles and the victim had been sharing a room at the motel. A search of the motel room yielded two handguns.
Serrano-Robles was located that day at the Tom’s River, New Jersey bus station. He was taken into custody without incident and has been held in the Ocean County jail since his arrest.
