It was a small but powerful gathering, as about a dozen people gathered in the sanctuary of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church last evening to pray for Ukraine and its citizens, as the Russian invasion continues into a second week.
Some of the people in attendance prayed silently, while others shared bible psalms and songs with the group. This woman offered her thoughts on the Ukrainians’ plight:
However, she said her heart was lifted, seeing how the people of Poland, Romania and Moldova have opened their homes and countries to the Ukrainian refugees.
