Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello happily accepted a large ceremonial check representing a large donation from the Lebanon Kennel Club Thursday at the start of the city council work session.
Kennel Club Member Michael Browner presented the check to the mayor – flanked by several other members of the club:
For her part, Mayor Capello said the Lebanon County Kennel Club has been a great supporter of the city police department’s canine fund:
The Lebanon County Kennel Club, like many other organizations, has had a tough ho of it through the Covid pandemic. Much of their work involves dog obedience training which they haven’t been able to do because of social distancing and meeting guidelines that were in place 2020 and 2021.
