Lebanon City Council will welcome back incumbent Republican Council President Joe Morales, who was the top vote-getter for another four year term on city council.
Also scoring a four year term is Republican Karen Haitos, a retired Lebanon School District teacher who now owns and operates an organic skin care store in town.
Haitos says she’s looking forward to serving her community.
Upon her swearing-in, she will join a council made up exclusively of white Republicans.
Asked if she plans to reach out to the majority Latino community in the city, Haitos said she absolutely will:
Republican Brian Martin defeated Independent candidate Alisher Aminov for a two year term on council by some 485 votes.
