Annville-Cleona Fire District Chief Phillip Snavely says Friday morning’s two alarm fire at Ed’s Automotive Services along East Main Street in Annville started in one of the service bays of the garage:

Firefighters were letting the propane from those tanks burn off and Lebanon County’s Hazmat Team was on scene to monitor that controlled burn.

Chief Snavely tells The Lebanon Valley Daily News that he called in a state police police fire marshall to investigate, but a cause for the fire has not been established at this point.

There were no injuries reported but the office portion of the building and the garage bays appear to have sustained extensive fire damage.
