Ebenezer Celebrates Hometown Heroes Day this Saturday

The Ebenezer Beautification Committee holds their annual Hometown Heroes Day this Saturday, April 16th.

Speaking on WLBR’s “Talk of the Town” program, committee president Gwen Yordy said there will be a number of events taking place on the grounds of Ebenezer Fire Station Number 9 which is situated along Route 72, in front of the Forever Media Lebanon studios.

Activities start out at the fire company’s social hall:

The Ebenezer firefighters will also be out front with their annual Easter flower sale.

Musical entertainment is scheduled from 12:30 to 2pm, featuring local artist Dave Heilman And they’ve tapped 102nd District Representative Russ Diamond to speak at noon time:

Yordy said the Ebenezer Beautification Committee raises money to pay for the upkeep of the memorial garden which they built at Jay Street and Route 72, as well as for the Hometown Hero banners and holiday decorations that adorn the light poles along Route 72 through Ebenezer at Christmas time.
