Lebanon City Council bid farewell to two of its members last night, Vice Chairman Wayne Carey and Councilman Dan Bost, who was appointed just over a year ago to fill part of the four year term made vacant when Amy Keller resigned in September of 2020.
Bost did not seek election this fall to fill out the term. Instead, he’s working as an aide in the Lebanon Office of 48th District State Senator Chris Gebhard.
For Carey, it’s the end of an eight year, two-term career on council that was lauded by Council Chairman Joe Morales:
Mayor Sherry Capello also had high praise for Carey:
Morales and fellow Republican Karen Haitos won election in November for four year terms on city council. Republican Brian Martin won the special two year term to fill out the remainder of Keller’s term, which expires at the end of 2023.
