3rd Homicide in the City of Lebanon in as Many Months

Lebanon Police are now investigating the third brazen homicide within city limits in three months.

Police are investigating the shooting death of a 39-year old Minersville, Schuylkill County man killed during an argument that turned physical around 1:14AM Saturday, outside the Laugh Lounge at 7th and Willow Streets.

City Police say the dispute began inside the club and was taken outside, but while the two men scuffled, the suspect pulled a handgun and shot, striking the victim.

He then fled the scene in a vehicle which had been parked in a nearby parking lot. Police describe him as a darker skinned male who stands about 5’9″.

An autopsy is being scheduled for the victim and police ask anyone with information about this incident to report it to them at 717-272-2054 or through Lebanon County Crime Stoppers at 717-270-9800.

On September 1st, 30-year old Josue Miguel Rivera of Lebanon was shot and killed at 8th and Crowell Streets. 23-year old Wensly Morales-Rodriguez turned himself in two days later in relation to that killing.

On October 27th, 16-year old Omar Rodriguez was shot and killed during a botched marijuana sale at 6th and Crowell Streets. 17-year old Jaedyn Gaines was arrested on homicide and conspiracy charges a few days later and 15-year old Jaden Pagan, who remains at large, has also been charged with homicide and robbery in connection to the incident.
